Douglas Stewart Reynal was born in Bay City, Texas on May 7, 1957, the only child of Edward Werner Reynal, Jr. (19241022) and Billie Jean Harris. He attended the public Bay City schools and graduated from Bay City High School in 1975. He attended Texas A&M University, was a member of the Corps of Cadets, and graduated with a degree in Mechanized Agriculture in 1980. He farmed for three years following graduating, but spent most of his career in Operations at Lyondell Petrochemical Co., Matagorda County, Texas. He wed Sherry Ann Cerny on December 22, 1984. Sherry was a teacher at Bay City High School. Stewart retired in 2019 whereupon he and Sherry relocated to Bryan, Texas. Douglas Stewart Reynal died in Bryan, Texas on October 25, 2020, and is buried at the Aggie Field of Honor Cemetery in College Station, Texas. Jump up to parent
